There is a new name in the auto market, but the car remains the same. It is reported Infiniti G37 luxury sedan will no further be called as such. Instead it will be named as Q40.

Infiniti announced the G37 will be made available from next month and to stay on sale until mid-2015. Thereafter it will be phased out.

The Japanese vehicle will be offered in two versions – Q40 and Q40 AWD. There will be just four exterior colors to choose and it will come in only two optional features – Moonroof Package and Navigation Plus Package.

Pricing details have not been yet been revealed. However, the 2013 G37 RWD version was rated at 24,500 EUR, which is about $32,950, and the 2013 G37 AWD modification in the US at 25,690 EUR, which is about $34,550.

Infiniti said the sedan will continue to be powered by V6 3.7-liter engine.
