No need to worry if you think BMW’s in house M-Sport styling packages for the new 5-Series saloon isn’t impressive enough as there is still another option to fall back upon. For Hamann motor sport has come up with its own tuning program for this mid sized luxury sedan and includes everything from an assortment of aero parts to upgrades for the chassis along with enhancements to spruce up the interior.
To liven things up in the exterior, Hamann has come up with a bodykit that includes adjustable front lip spoiler, new front bumper trim with built-in daytime running LEDs, sculptured side skirts, a rear apron with an integrated diffuser, a boot lid spoiler which though might not be to the liking of many. Then there is also an additional roof spoiler for those who have a penchant for things extraordinaire.
The kit also includes 21-inch alloy wheels with a matte black finish and polished rims shod in 255/30 ZR21 tires up front and 295/25 ZR21 tires at the rear. The kit also comprises of a 35mm lowering kit that renders a sporty stance to the luxury sedan. And for the 550i, Hamann has come up with a special sport exhaust system which comprises of four enlarged tail pipes.
And of course, the interiors can’t be lagging behind when so much is being meted out to freshen up the exterior. So on the inside, Hamann has come up with the following changes which includes carbon trim for the dashboard, central console, door handle panels and steering wheel, special badges and logos, and aluminum sport pedals and footrest.
And don’t you worry as the engine performance upgrades of the BMW 5 series that promises to infuse the sedan with a fresh dose of enthusiasm will soon be out in the market.
