Audi increases prices by 2% on average

Audi is set to increase prices of all their vehicles by 2% on average before the end of the month. The German carmaker cites the current exhange rate as one of the primary reasons for the increase.

The company will up their sticker prices starting 25 May. The tag prices of the current lineup of Audi that will be ordered before that date will be following the current level of prices.

Looking at the numbers, the Q7 will have an increase of 0.6% while the biggest change will be the 3% jump on the Audi R8’s price for its V10 and V8 models.

Audi explains that the impact of the currency exchange made it necessary to adjust their prices to go up by 2% on average being offset on some models depending on some specification improvements.

Prices for the upcoming A8, R8 Spyder, RS5, and the A1 which were advertised recently will not be subjected to the increase.
