German companies BMW and Daimler are going to name their combined ride-hailing and car-sharing company “Jurbey”, a source knowledgeable about the matter stated on Tuesday.

Daimler and BMW refused to comment.

Automotive website The Drive was first to report about the brand name.

Germany’s luxury automakers last year revealed plans to combine their car-sharing businesses to rival with ride-hailing firms like Uber in the United States and Didi Chuxing in China.

Under the terms of their deal, which consists of car-sharing units Car2Go and DriveNow along with ride-hailing, parking and charging services, Daimler and BMW will each hold a 50 percent stake in the joint venture.
