It seems good times are coming back once again in the British car segment. In a recent report released by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders, production of new cars in Britain has grown by an annual 44% in April while the growth stood at an impressive 64.9% in comparison to sales a year ago.

Further, it seems the good times is here to stay as the second quarter of this year as demand for new cars continue to be robust with all sectors like passenger cars, commercial vehicles or engines reporting good performance, revealed CEO of SMMT, Paul Everitt. Everitt said the growth can be attributed to a rejuvenated economy and an enhanced consumer confidence.
