84-year-old man killed by car on Warren Avenue near Woodmont, Detroit

An 84-year-old man was struck by a car Sunday evening on West Warren Avenue near Woodmont Avenue, according to the Detroit police.

The man was hit in the roadway by a silver Honda sedan at 6:10 p.m. The driver stopped, police said.

Medics rushed to take the man to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead due to his injuries.
