Two killed after two-vehicle crash in Toowomba, Queensland

Two people have been killed after a collision between a car and a truck in Toowoomba, Queensland.

The crash took place at Mount Irving at around 10 am yesterday when a truck traveling westbound on Toowoomba Cecil Plains Road crashed with a car traveling south on Jondaryan Mount Tyson Road.

Six people were traveling in the car when the crash took place.

A 29-year-old woman was pronounced right after the crash.

Three seriously injured victims were flown to hospitals in Brisbane, while three other victims with small injuries were admitted to hospitals in Toowoomba.

A 12-year-old girl was the latest fatality in the crash.

The identities of the victims haven’t been released.
