Lexus not building an LF-A Roadster

by Alex

Roadster version of the Lexus LF-A supercar that had been in the soon to be anticipated list of many a person has finally been declared as a far off project by Toyota, the maker of the car.

The LF-A had come in with just a limited number of 500 units. This number had been gobbled up almost as fast as the car itself is and then there was none. The concept car for the LF-A roadster had seen light of the day quite a few years back. Consumers had shown great affinity for the car and demand was high and yet the production of this car has never reached the fully fledged state. Toyota rather are concentrating and focusing their ability towards developing the coupe LF-A and the special edition of the Nurburgring Edition.

For power the Lexus LF-A has a 4.8 liter V10 engine delivering 560 hp at 9,000 RPM while torque rating stands at 354 lb-ft at 6,800 RPM. Ninety percent of the torque is available between the range of 3,700 RPM and 9,000 RPM which is its top range. Due to these power figures that rating the car can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3.7 seconds flat. The top speed of the car is 202 mph.
