2013 Maserati Crossover due out in 2012

Maserati is a name well known and well founded in the category of sports car though they are now in the process of coming out with a new crossover model. This, in order to expand their line of sales and presence in the auto market. The platform that they would be using for building this new crossover model would be the Jeep Grand Cherokee and the engine they will be using in this project is the V8 engine used on the Ferrari. The company has indicated that they plan to pace this car as a competitor to the Porsche Cayenne.

The project named Kubang concept had started up in 2003 and is expected to be completed only in 2012. Chrysler Group CEO Sergio Marchionne speaking about this new cross over mentioned that the car would carry the rock and roll engine in both V8 and V12 variants.
