Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4

by Alex

Its an undoubted fact that the new Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 is one of the secrets of the 81st Geneva Interational Motor Show, though the worst kept at that. This owes to the leakage of a multitude of studio shots over the net in the past few days coupled with live shots of the Murcielago’s replacement from Geneva, all thanks to the people at the Autogespot.

Information from Emil of Autogespot came quoted in the form of “We have just received from a friend a few exclusive photos of the new LP700-4. It is the Grigio Estoque colorded Aventador that will be shown on the press day on the 1st of March.” Lo and behold, Aventador arises in all its newness. The much coveted details of the four wheeler will soon be spilled when Lamborghini launches its new flagship model at the show to be held at Geneva. But for a condensed information the next paragraph will suffice.

The design of the Aventador is inspired form the limited run Reventon without a spot of doubt. The design but has an edge to it. It boasts of a new lightweight monocoque chassis made of carbon fiber. The coupe derives its power from a brand new 6.5 liter V12 engine that churns out 700 horsepower at 8,250 rpm and a peak torque of 690 Nm or 479.4 lb-ft at 5,500 rpm. The initial assumptions make an impression of 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint time of just 2.9 seconds amalgamated with a top speed of 350 kmph or 217 mph.
