After revealed its 2012 Maserati GranTurismo MC and 2012 Maserati GranCabrio Sport, the Italian luxury brand decided to collaborate with other Italian brand under a single project.
We’re talking about Maserati and Silvia Venturini Fendi colaboration and its great result: GranCabrio Fendi, “a masterpiece of technology and craftsmanship” which will be on display at the Franfurt Motor Show in September.
This special Maserati GranCabrio Fendi is painted in a three-layered body colour named Grigio Fiamma Fendi, which is a special dark grey with an iridescent golden finish on the surface. Beside this, there is also wood trim Pergamena Fendi that runs across the width of the dashboard, on the doors and on the top of the gear lever, all in the iconic FENDI yellow, like the brake callipers and the embroidered yellow trident on the headrests.
At the interior, you get Fendi’s Cuoio Romano leather from Selleria line on the instrument cluster cover, for the gear lever and for the profile of the floor mats.
As expected, Fendi’s double F logo is stitched on the seats and also appears in the center of the 19 inch Trident design alloy wheels. In addition comes a silver oval plaque with the engraving of the Maserati Trident, Fendi logo and the 5-digit series number located on the dashboard, in front of the passenger seat, and on both sides of the black cloth folding roof.
As a reminder, the Maserati GranCabrio Fendi is fitted with a 4.7-litre V8 version equipped with the automatic transmission.
Pricing for the Maserati GranCabrio Fendi was not announced.
