Chevrolet said that along with the 2012 Cruze Station Wagon, they will also reveal two extra concepts at the Geneva Motor Show. As a brief back, the Cruze Station Wagon will be powered by a gasoline turbo 1.4-liter, 1.6-liter 1.8-liter engine, or by a 2.0-liter Diesel. All of these engines are Euro 5 acceptable.
The concepts are built for and with young people. Chevrolet declared that in the process of designing these vehicles, a team of multiple youths was pulled together in order to make this cars more youth-friendly.
The first concept is the
, that was launched in January at the Detroit Motor Show. This car features a rear-wheel drivetrain, and gets four passenger seats.
The second concept is the Tru 140S, that also gets 4 seats, but with a front-wheel drive. Also, this car will get a turbocharged engine.
Both models are compatible with multiple devices (for example the iPod), and are highly customizable.
As this is a car built for young drivers (who let’s face it, don’t normally pay too much for a car), both of this concepts(assuming they ever go into production) will come at a relatively low cost.
Chevrolet will tell us more about both these concepts at the Geneva Motor Show that starts on March 8th.
