Jaguar announces 280kph XFR

We at speedlux had already hinted you guys that the Jaguar XFR will some time come out with Performance pack, well you heard it Correct!

Its called SPEED PACK and is Priced at £2,750, the Speed Pack is available to put up into your new Jaguar XFR, adjusting its suspension and aerodynamics the new performance enhancement will deliver a speed limit of an 174mph possible!

Normally the Jaguar XFR is limited to 155mph, the optional upgrades will be made available with a revised engine and gearbox configuration to match the increased maximum velocity. If specified, the Speed Pack also brings an aerodynamically and visually different front splitter and rear wing combination.

The pack does come with a revised engine and gearbox calibration to match the increased top speed, and keeps eight-speed automatic gearbox and stop-start system, which on the combined cycle improves fuel economy by 11% and reduces CO2 emissions by 8%.

The engine has hardly any changes, apart from minor tweaks to accommodate the higher 280kph speed limiter.

Well as such Jaguar wasn’t less fast that they have come up with this new performance upgradation! Well now that speed has been tuned, the Big Cat will leap ahead for many accolades!

    The new XFR also benefits from enhancements to the steering over the standard car.
