At the on going AIMS(Australian International Motor Show) Hyundai Motors Australia will be showcasing the Accent SR concept which highlights the sportier version of the company’s hatchback, it is expected that next year when the car comes out, it probably will look the same.
The new Accent SR concept will be powered by the same engine found under the hood of the entry-level Hyundai Veloster, a a 1.6-liter 4-cylinder unit with 138 hp (103 kW) and 123 lb-ft (167 Nm) of torque, which makes it a more stronger engine than the base Accent with 122 hp (91 kW) and 115 lb-ft (156 Nm). This whole set up will be mated to a 6-speed Manual gearbox.
This new concept, is based on the mid range Accent Elite and this concept ride on 16-inch alloys, and the standard items will be a rear spoiler, projector headlamps with LED positioning lamps, a dark metallic paint finish, rear parking sensors, climate control and a 5-inch touchscreen display with support for AUX, USB and Bluetooth and much more, lets hope that more features will be coming up in the new variant.
