In a abrupt decision Audi has unveiled the RS5 DTM at the Geneva Motor Show unexpectedly.
With the competition date being May 5th, the race car is an successor of the A5 DTM. Audi didn’t disclose anything but said the model has very less changes as a result of a hold on technical development at the end of 2012 season. Irrespective of this, Audi says their technicians were quite knowledgeable and examined more than 4,000 components to see if any of them could be adapted.
Detail specifications are not known yet, but Audi’s Head of Motorsport, said The performance data of the current RS5 and RS5 DTM are very similar. This is why we are of the opinion that both fit perfectly to one another.
