The car also has some notable options available that include competition sports seats, carbon fiber trim, a dual-mode exhaust system and Magnetic Ride Control with Performance Traction Management. The company also offers various other goodies such as an $8,005 3LT interior package that adds heated and ventilated Napa leather seats, a leather-wrapped dashboard and a heads up display. The Z51 Performance Package consists of beefier brakes, an electronic limited-slip differential and a transmission cooling system. The package also adds a retuned suspension, optimized gear ratios and 19-inch front and 20-inch rear wheels. The cost of this package is $2,800.
The car will come fitted with a 6.2-liter LT1 V8 engine that will be capable of producing around 450 bhp (336 kW) and 450 lb-ft (609 Nm) of torque. This will enable Corvette to accelerate from 0-60 mph (0-100 kmph) in just under four seconds and return more than 26 mpg highway (US).
