Latest pictures of the interiors along with some more details of the 2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class are now available. The car is expected to be unveiled on May 15 in Hamburg, Germany.
Mercedes-Benz had already published come gloomy photos with the interior of the new S-Class, but now these photos give a better look at the luxurious interior of this upcoming model. From the photos it appears that the model is the long wheelbase version and not Pullman.
As per one of the members of “Worldscoop.forumpro.fr”, the company will start accepting orders for Mercedes-Benz S-Class on July 20 and will be available in three versions – S350 Bluetec with power of 258 hp (192 kW), S400 Hybrid with power of 326 hp (243 kW) and S500 with 435 hp (324 kW). There are chances that S500 will be offered with a powerhouse of 455 hp (339 kW) version, together with a plug-in hybrid S500 providing 355 hp (265 kW) but at a later stage.
The S63 AMG is set to get 571 hp (426 kW), followed by the S63 AMG 4MATIC with power of 585 hp (436 kW) and the range-topping variant S65 AMG V12 Biturbo rated at 650 hp (485 kW) due in 2015. However the S250 Diesel has not yet been confirmed at present by the company.
There are rumors that the long-wheel base version may measure between 5.45 meters and 5.50 meters, and will be followed in 2015 by the Maybach-replacing Pullman variant which will be even longer. Interestingly, a four-door coupe is allegedly scheduled to be unveiled in 2016. There will also be the already known coupe and cabrio variants.
