Holden has recently unveiled the 2014 Caprice. Though the model can be easily identified, the updated version is distinguished by additional chrome trim and restyled 18- and 19-inch alloy wheels.

The exterior of the updated 2014 Caprice is almost the same as earlier one but the interiors have received some changes. The features that have been fitted inside include completely redesigned cabin with higher quality materials and an improved layout, leather seats, a push button ignition and a MyLink infotainment system with GPS navigation.

The range-topping Caprice V comes with an additional sport steering wheel, a nine-speaker Bose audio system and a rear seat entertainment system with dual channel wireless headphones.

The updated model offers various safety features such as Auto Park Assist, Reverse Traffic Alert, Blind Spot Alert. There are also other features such as parking sensors, a rear view camera, Hill Start Assist and Trailer Sway Control.

The car comes with two engine options. The entry-level model comes with a 3.6-liter V6 engine, while the range topping Caprice V has a 6.0-liter V8 engine though the performance specifications have not been given. However there are chances that 3.6-liter V6 will mostly generate 285 HP (210 kW) and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque, while the 6.0-liter V8 may generate 353 HP (260 kW) and 517 Nm (381 lb-ft) of torque. The engine would be connected to a six-speed auto transmission.

The 2014 Caprice will go on sale later this year and pricing starts at $54,490.
