The third generation of the Audi TT has been spied yet again undergoing some tests on the Ring and this time the spy photographers were able to get the view of the interior cabin.
The TT had quite a bit of camo on it, but we can easily make out that the next gen model will look pretty much like a shrunken R8 which isnt necessarily a bad thing. It will feature a prominent front grille with angular headlights, a rakish windscreen and flared wheel arches.
Coming to the interiors, the cabin adopts a rather conservative look and gives up one of the central air vents that were introduced on the second-gen model. The layout is like the current model only, with the exception of the display which will be repositioned on top off the center stack.
Riding on Volkswagens MQB platform, the 2015 TT will be lighter and will possibly be offered with a 1.8-liter TFSI engine outputting 180 HP (132 kW) along with a larger 2.0-liter TFSI rated at 220 HP (162 kW) and 300 HP (221 kW). The TT-RS version may also get an uprated 5-cylinder turbo generating an output of 380 HP (279 kW).
