The 2014 Hyundai Genesis was recently showcased at a private event in Korea and one of the participants smartly took some photos of this mid-size luxury sedan.
We already had idea of what the exteriors look like but this time around we got the opportunity to take a look at the interiors which appear to be considerably more premium as compared to the outgoing model but still lags when compared to its German rivals.
The Genesis will be offered with an optional all-wheel drive system (HTRAC) for the first time and will also be a much safer car as compared to its predecessors which is due to an improvement of the body’s structure and rigidity as well as due to the implementation of various safety technologies.
Talking about power options, under the hood it will likely get updated versions of the familiar 3.8-liter V6 and 5.0-liter V8 engines that will work together with a more refined eight-speed auto transmission gearbox. It could also be offered with a ten-speed automatic gearbox but that is expected to happen at a later date during the car’s lifespan.
The 2014 Hyundai Genesis will most likely be revealed before the end of this month.
