Nissan Leaf

by Alex Patrick

I don’t know what the hell Nissan was thinking when they came up with the name Leaf for their new car. But whatever the reason, the vehicle is coming to production. According to Nissan, 50,000 people signed up for updates about the vehicle and according to the company itself they will begin to take pre orders in August with shipments being sent out in December.

The car holds the record (according to the company) as the “world’s first all-electric, zero emission car designed for the mass market.” (…their words, not ours).

After official pricing is announced in April, the company will begin accepting a $100 refundable reservation fee. Nothing else to see here except for the pictures below, so fail not to check them out.
