After getting their hands on the Z4 Roadster, M6 Coupe, M3 Coupe, M5 Sedan, X5M, and the X6M, G-Power has turned its love to tune the flagship limo of the BMW lineup, the BMW 760i and its sibling 760iL.
The latest achievement of the G-Power was coined the Storm which will only have a run of 10 units all over the globe.
Let’s check out the engine. The technicians of G-Power toyed with the V-12 6.0L bi-turbocharged engine of the BMW limo and inceased it max bosst pressure to 0.9 bar from 0.5 bar. The team also calibrated its ECU, made a new exhaust system, and placed larger injection valves.
Well if those modifications to grasp let these numbers explain them. The Storm has an output of 725 horsepower and a peak torque registering at 735 pound-feet. This is a great improvement from the stock’s 544 hp and torque of 553 lb-ft. The engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox that transmits power to the rear wheels.
G-Power discloses that that the Storm can zoom from 0 to 62 mph in just 4.2 seconds and can reach a jaw dropping speed of 215 mph or 345 km/hr. Now imagine if you are an executive and you are late for a meeting, stepping on it will mean a lot of difference.
The technicians also modified the ride height through new suspension sportpack and made it lower by 1.2 inches.
The Storm also comes with a body kit that consists of a Kevlar made bonnet designed with air vents, carbon fiber on the side skirts, unique design for the rear and front bumpers, and lid spoiler and rear diffuser.
The modified BMW 760i will also sport 22-inch alloy rims hugged by wheels from Michelin.
The inside of the car will wow anyone with the carbon fiber door panels, dashboard, and consoles. The steering wheel was also modified to improve ergonomics.
The Strom 760i does not come cheap of course. The tag price is a hefty $495,000 with the 760il Storm goes for $510,000.
