Owners of Tesla vehicles will now be able to travel back and forth to the Scotland with more convenience than ever. The thing is, Tesla Motors has now officially opened its very first supercharger station at the Edinburgh Airport, Scotland. This will enable owners of the Tesla models from the United Kingdom to wander around the streets of Scotland without having to worry about running out of juice. According to George Ell, the Country Director for the UK division of Tesla Motors, the car manufacturing company from the US is more than happy to open its very first supercharger station in Scotland. According to Ell, this should make it much easier for owners of Tesla vehicles to go from Edinburgh to Stirling, Glasgow and even many more places.
In addition to the supercharger station in Scotland, Ell also adds that Tesla is planning to establish service centers and stores as well in the upcoming year. So, he suggests Tesla owners to keep an eye on Scotland.
Meanwhile, Gordon Dewar, the chief executive officer (CEO) in charge of the Edinburgh Airport, also agrees to Ell’s excitement. According to Dewar, it has been a great pleasure for the Edinburgh Airport to house the very first Tesla supercharging station of Scotland and he expects this to offer Tesla owners with very convenient services whenever they are in Scotland. As Dewar puts it, the Edinburgh Airport is committed to pleasing its passengers in all the possible ways. He also adds that the opening of the supercharging station is actually a response to the feedback the airport has been receiving from its passengers over the years. Dewar also adds that the Edinburgh Airport of Scotland is looking forward to a continuous partnership with Tesla in the future and that he wishes Tesla Motors continuous success in the company’s Scottish ventures.
