This Audi TT Coupe Is Entirely Wrapped in Edible Chocolate!

Fans of Audi cars can usually order special paint job. Yet, it seems that there is no paint job that’s as special as this one. Believe it or not, in Belgium, the Audi TT Coupe may prove to be identical to chocolate. Well, at least that’s the case with the coupe displayed during the 2014 Biennale Interieur event held in Belgium recently. For your information, this event is not actually an automotive exhibition of any sorts. It’s a furniture exhibition event instead. With that being said, the luxury German automaker seems to emphasize that its cars are not just means of transport but also works of art that represent the lifestyle of Audi owners.

The Audi TT Coupe displayed in Belgium has real life, edible chocolate covering its entire body that measures 4.2 meters long in total. Altogether, there are no less than 27,000 pieces of chocolates used to wrap the car up. The chocolates even come in a diverse range of colors, shapes and sizes to fit the profile of this sports coupe from Audi. To make such a delicate work possible, the German automaker takes advantage of the help provided by Joost Arijs, a capable chocolate confectionery and pastry baking company.

The car that the luxury German automaker puts on display during the 2014 Biennale Interieur event is actually the latest model fresh from the company’s factory. It is a very stylish 2-door coupe, sporting a beautiful xenon headlamp design with LED daytime running lights and LED combination taillights. Under its hood, the car boasts Audi’s 2.0L TFSI engine capable of outputting 211 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque. The car offers a high level of driving comfort as well, thanks to its S-tronic 6-speed automatic dual-clutch transmission with quick shifting feature. On the inside, passengers will be spoilt by Alcantara leather, heated seats and BOSE sound system.
