In spite of automakers’ attempts to keep their upcoming vehicle model as discreet as possible, it seems that there will always be some people that happen to spot their upcoming models. Even worse for the automakers, some people simply have bull’s eyes that they can make out a lot of details even from a very heavily camouflaged test mule. Recently, a Mercedes-Benz model was caught testing. From the looks of it, it is very likely that this is actually the 2016 Mercedes-Benz S-Class Pullman, a luxury German limousine carrying six doors altogether.
Rumor has it the luxury German automaker, Mercedes-Benz, will be bringing the S-Class Maybach to an international automotive expo in Los Angeles. For your information, this car is a very long car with a total length measuring no less than five and a half meters. Yet, it seems that even this is not long enough for the Germans. The S-Class Pullman spotted during a test session is going to be even longer. According to the latest reports, the vehicle is the responsibility of the Brabus division of Mercedes-Benz. The car is going to be as long as 6.4 meters, carry six doors and will be able to accommodate six passengers, with a seating configuration of 2+2+2. For the rear seats, they will be facing towards each other.
It is predicted that the 2016 Mercedes-Benz S-Class Pullman will be coming with a 6.0L V12 twin-turbo engine. If that is the case, Mercedes may well be putting the S600 emblem on the vehicle. Its engine should be able to deliver 530 horsepower in addition to 830 Nm of torque. After all, when it was spotted on the test session, the car was running at 230 km/h, according to the person who managed to snap the photo.
Unfortunately, however, there is no information at all about the possible price tag. However, it is very likely that the car won’t cost under $1 million.
