The order book for the 2015 Nissan Sentra has been officially opened. The Japanese automaker, Nissan, has officially unveiled pricing for the car, which will start from $16,480. However, it is recommended not to expect this price tag to include destination charges, which can cost as much as $825. To make it worse, this starting price is for the base trim, the S trim, only. However, with such money, owners of the car will indeed get some luxury amenities previously available only in more expensive vehicles.
Now in its 7th generation, this upcoming sedan from the Japanese automaker is going to come with illuminated steering wheel mounted controls, cruise control, automatic smart headlamps, USB and also Bluetooth connection. The good news is that all these features now come standard on the Sentra.
Meanwhile, for customers that don’t mind paying more money for the Sentra, there are three more trims for them to choose from. These trims are the SV, SR and SL trims, with the SV trim being the most popular option among buyers. Needless to say, each of these trims comes with different features and hence different prices as well. Price for the SV trim starts at $18,300. For the SR trim, it starts from $19,910. As for the SL trim, it starts from $20,670.
As can be seen, the SL trim is the range-topping trim. It comes with everything other trims below it has, added with a rearview mirror with auto dimming function, Bose sound system with eight speakers, dual zone climate control, engine start/stop button, leather upholstery, heated front seats and many more.
According to Nissan, no matter what trim buyers choose, they will all be treated with the same powertrain, a 1.8L 4-cylinder engine. The engine will be paired with either an Xtronic CVT or a 6-speed manual transmission.
The 2015 Nissan Sentra will have four new colors added, which are, the Fresh Powder, Cayenne Red, Red Alert (SR only) and Titanium.
