SsangYong, a not-so-popular automaker from the South Korea, has decided to finally unveil the facelift version of its latest Rexton SUV model. The public in the South Korea is the first audience lucky enough to be able to witness the aforementioned facelift making its appearance.
For those who may not quite knowledgeable just yet, the facelifted version of the vehicle is actually based on the facelifted version of the M-Class vehicle model manufactured by the luxury German automotive brand, Mercedes-Benz. However, of course, customers can expect a number of equipment as well as visual modifications to be available on the facelifted SUV from the South Korean soil. To begin with, for the exterior, this car comes with a pair of HID projector headlamps, complete with LED daytime running lights to keep them company. A restyled radiator grille is also available on the front fascia of the vehicle. Meanwhile, at the rear fascia, the vehicle sports a pair of taillights with a revised design. The car also sits on a set of newly designed bespoke alloy wheels.
Passengers inside the vehicle will also get to enjoy such luxury amenities as interior LED lighting, redesigned center console and, uniquely enough, comfortable seats with coolers instead of heaters as in the case of most vehicles.
When it comes to performance, the SsangYong Rexton SUV facelift is most likely to come with three engine offerings. These offerings are a 3.2L petrol engine (range topping), 2.7L diesel engine and a 2.0L diesel engine. The engines can be mated to either a 5-speed automatic or a 6-speed manual gearbox.
Last but not least, as reported by the Indian Autos Blog, the vehicle will also come featuring a smart key entry system, wipers with rain sensors, a capable sound system with Bluetooth support, cruise control, Tire Pressure Monitoring System and also Electronic Stability Program.
