The 2015 Suzuki Vitara actually made its official debut October last year during the Paris Motor Show event. Now, the car has eventually arrived at the United Kingdom and the Japanese automaker, Suzuki, is asking for at least GBP13,999 for its latest generation Vitara.
In case you forget, the latest generation Suzuki Vitara comes with a design that the Japanese company refers to as a city oriented design. The car comes in the form of a crossover with five doors and Suzuki is offering a front-wheel-drive (FWD) drivetrain for customers keen on purchasing the vehicle. The FWD drivetrain will be the standard but, for those who demand the ultimate performance, they can always opt for the company’s ALLGRIP 4-wheel-drive (4WD) drivetrain.
In the UK, customers can get the latest Vitara model with a 1.6L petrol or diesel engine. For the petrol variant, power is rated at 120 hp and torque is rated at 156 Nm. Yet, as for the diesel variant, customers can expect 120 hp of power and 320 Nm of torque. Both a 5-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmissions are available to choose from.
The 2015 Suzuki Vitara features a number of amenities, including electric front and rear windows, automatic air conditioning system, cruise control that features a speed limiter, Bluetooth, USB, DAB radio, navigation system, smartphone connectivity, projector headlamps, 7 airbags, and either 16- or 17-inch alloy wheels.
For the higher trim variant of the model, customers will also receive a radar brake support, LED projector headlamps, panoramic sunroof, suede seat fabric, keyless entry, engine start/stop button, adaptive cruise control and also polished 17-inch alloy wheels.
There are also the urban and rugged packages that cost GBP500 each. These packages will provide buyers of the vehicle with body side moldings, fog lamp bezels with chrome plating, loading edge protector, skid plates at the front and rear ends of the vehicle, and also a roof spoiler.
