There is interesting news going on with the luxury automotive brand from Germany, BMW, it seems. The UK division that belongs to the aforementioned automotive marquee has taken the liberty of showing off the company’s X5 model that has been well equipped with the company’s M Performance parts. The BMW UK showcases the vehicle model in question by releasing an official video.
Well, in case you forget, the next X5 – the 3rd generation – has actually been offered with the M Performance parts optionally ever since last spring. Now, it seems as if the German automaker does not want us to forget just how capable the car can be by releasing this very video which you can watch for yourself here. In the video, you can see the car coming with a Space Gray paint job. In addition to that, the car also sports a carbon fiber front splitter, a kidney front grille painted in the glossy black hue, sill decals and also carbon fiber mirror housings.
In the adjacent video, the car sits on a set of 21-inch alloy wheels. We can also see a spoiler and a carbon fiber diffuser at its rear fascia, as well as some carbon fiber rear side trims. Unfortunately, BMW has yet to showcase just what the cabin of the car may hold for keen buyers of the model.
Rumor has it, nonetheless, with the M Performance option, the cabin of the car should feature a number of luxury and performance amenities, such as, a sports steering wheel that has a red marking on the center, high grade steel brake and accelerator pedals, gear lever wrapped in the carbon fiber material and also floor mats with the M Performance badging.
It is also reported that the M Performance package will also boost the power of the BMW xDrive35i by 20 HP and 50 Nm. So, all in all, with the M Performance package, the car will have its 3.0L 6-cylinder turbocharged engine deliver 326 HP and 450 Nm of power output and torque, respectively.
