U.S. authorities have not shared any details with Germany, concerning software application that a newspaper report stated was discovered in some Audi automobiles that decreased their carbon dioxide emissions throughout tests, a Transport Ministry representative stated on Monday.
“For the moment, we have no details on this problem … The KBA (automobile authority) is ensuring that it will get details on the concern and as a next action it will make an evaluation,” representative Sebastian Hille stated during a routine federal government press conference.
Bild am Sonntag reported on Sunday that the California Air Resources Board (CARB) found the software application in an automatic transmission Audi last summer season. It mentioned no sources.
