Creating on the enjoyment produced by the 2015/2016 Shelby GT350 Mustang, Ford unveiled its great new color taste and feature choices for the 2017 model year. Ford brings back the popular Grabber Blue and includes Ruby Red Metallic and the all-new Lightning Blue, which simulates the Liquid Blue seen on the Ford Performance automobiles at auto shows around the world. These colors replace Deep Impact Blue as well as Competition Orange.
In 2015 and 2016, owners might pick between a base design or either the Technology or Track Package. To keep interest high, Ford has expanded the basic features on the GT350. In 2015, the Tech Pack geared a Shelby with an engine oil cooler, power-heated and air-conditioned seats, voice-activated Navigation, MagneRide suspension, and a brief rear spoiler.
The Track Pack consisted of rear-end, engine, and transmission coolers, manual Recaro seats, aluminum strut-tower brace, MagneRide suspension, and a larger rear spoiler. To the dismay of owners, navigation was not offered with the Track Pack. For 2017 the Track Pack is now conventional, offering all clients the functions they desire, consisting of navigation. “No longer do purchasers need to pick between the Track Pack and additional functions,” Pericak stated. “The 2017 Shelby GT350 also brings three new colors and the choice of either an offered Electronics Package or a Convenience Package.”
New features of 2017 Shelby GT350 Mustang:
• Basic Track Package having aluminum tower-to-tower brace; high-downforce decklid spoiler; engine oil, transmission, as well as differential coolers; and MagneRide damping system.
• Three new colors, they are: Ruby Red Metallic, Lightning Blue, and Grabber Blue—replace Deep Impact Blue and Competition Orange.
• Two new offered packages: Electronics Package has SYNC 3, sound-activated navigation and nine-speaker audio system; Convenience Package includes the same options, and replaces manual Recaro seats with leather-trimmed power sport seats.
• Available sound system updated from seven to nine speakers with Electronics Package, Convenience Package as well as R-Electronics Package.
