Morgan EvaGT to be launched at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance

by Alex

Inspired by the sports saloons from the early 1950’s, Morgan had been planning to build its all new four-seater that has been named the EvaGT. And they are kind enough to disclose the first sketch of the this new upcoming car from their drawing boards.

The car would be powered by a 3 liter straight six mono turbo engine. This is the same engine used by BMW on their 335i. It can deliver 306 hp and 400 Nm of torque. The car would also have either a manual or automatic gear box with 6 speed sport control. Being mated to the engine this would enable the car to reach speeds of 60 mph in 4.5 seconds. The top speeds of the car would be 170 mph or 273 kmph. The car is expected to be launched in August at the 60th Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance after which more details would be available.
