2011 Dodge Challenger Facelift caught undisguised

by Alex

A nice surprise awaits Dodge fans and admirers. Photo of a 2011 Dodge Challenger in R/T trim has been taken by some spy photographer and is on display. The photograph shows the car having under a facelift and there is no camouflage evident on the car. But to make out the differences between this one and the 2009/2010 coupe, one would need a fine eye for details.

The lower intake that is fitted upfront has been reshaped. The Ram nose emblem on the hood has been eliminated and new set of door handles have been added. This is what can be derived from the present photo received of the car. Further changes to the rear and outside is not visible from this photograph.

There is supposed to be much changes to the interior also as the talks go with upgraded material.

The engine too may have been changed for the 2011 Challenger. The base model would have a Chrysler’s new Pentastar 3.6-liter V6 engine which gives power in the range of 280 hp to 300 hp. The flagship model would in its turn get the new 6.4 liter V8 that develops 480 hp which is more from the 425 hp.
