At the Sao Paulo International Motor Show 2012 – Honda revealed the “FIT twist” developed exclusively for the Brazilian market and the first model developed by the local automobile R&D team in Brazil. The new Fit Twist offers a a sportier vehicle image with bold design adopted from an exclusive front grille and roof rails as well as an exclusive seat surface material. Honda also unveiled its lineup of new Flex Fuel 1 vehicles, which are popular in Brazil, including CR-V Flex and Civic 2.0 which are scheduled to go on sale in 2013.
Under the hood, the power is drawn from a 1.5-liter flex-fuel engine which can be mated to either a manual transmission or automatic gearbox, the engine comes with front-wheel drive configuration, this engine will give you two sets of output, if you fill in Gasoline it will deliver 115Hp and if in case you fill ethanol, it will deliver 116HP.
On the exterior the Honda Fit Twist, doesn’t get expected changes, other than bigger 16-inch wheels, dark headlights and revised front grille.
And meanwhile of the sources are to be believed then, the all-new Honda Fit Twist will go on sale at R$57,900($28,600) and sales will begin later this month for the Brazilian domestic market.
