2013 Skoda Octavia Combi Formally unveiled

by SpeedLux

Skoda has disclosed the 2013 Octavia Combi which will be shown together with the 4×4 version in Geneva next month.

Following the release of the sedan version last year, Skoda is now in the process of showing the Combi version. In comparison to its predecessor, the wagon is 45mm wider & 90mm larger and comes with an 11cm longer wheelbase.

As a result of the bigger size, the car now offers an extra 73mm of rear legspace and 610 liters of cargo space with the rear seats in upright position. With the rear seats bent down, available boot space is increased to 1740 liters. The passenger seat can also be folded which allows an easier transport of larger objects.

The engines will probably be the same as in sedan, while the 4×4 version will use the new coupling introduced on the Golf VII 4Motion.

Stay tuned with Speedlux!
