2013 SsangYong Rodius Turismo shines in Geneva

by SpeedLux

SsangYong has introduced in Geneva the 2013 Rodius Turismo also known as Rodius Turisma.

The Korean automaker opines that they have done the hard work to create a different and innovative look but even so it’s not that kind of car one would call it appealing. Any way it’s still an improvement over its previous version.

The new generation has a larger wheelbase and can accommodate seven adults and plenty of luggage. It has a three-row seating arrangement, the second row gives way for a table when folded and the third row can be dismantled fully for more luggage space.

Power gets boost from a 2.0-liter e-XDi200 turbodiesel engine with 155 HP at 4,000 rpm and 360 Nm of torque between 1,500 and 2,800 rpm. It can be attached to a six-speed manual gearbox or a five-speed Mercedes-Benz automatic transmission.

The inside part of the cabin comes with leather upholstery, air conditioning, heated windscreen, air quality system, electrically-adjustable, eco cruise control and heated front seats. Safety characteristics include ABS, ESP, brake assist system and active roll over protection , along with dual front and side airbags.
