2014 Audi RS7 Sportback shines at Detroit

by SpeedLux

Audi has introduced a new member of its RS line of competitive car the RS7 five-door coupe, which is making its debut at the 2013 NAIAS.

The style and looks are all german, and the performance is worth mentioning.

It churns out 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.9 seconds. That’s as fast as most supercars and more faster than the BMW 6-Series Gran Coupe. The reactor behind this mad performance is quite solid compared to its rivals.

Mercedes uses a 5.5-liter twin-turbo V8 called the M157 in most of its AMG models, while BMW has a 4.4-liter TwinPower Turbo V8 for its M cars. But Audi’s uses a 4-liter V8. Still, it’s been twin-turbocharged to produce the same 412 kW (560 hp) as its rivals.

Even though the RS7 has to carry lots of features and lots of good quality leather, the RS7 can garner upto 305 km/h (189.52 mph) in few seconds.

As the auto show progresses more in depth data will come out for the public and the press alike.

Till then stay tuned and savor the picture gallery.
