Hyundai has unveiled the 2014 Elantra Sport at the recently concluded Los Angeles Auto Show.

Looking tastefully restrained, the exteriors of the Elantra Sport feature a black chrome grille, LED-infused headlights, body-color rear spoiler, chrome trim and two-tone 17-inch alloy wheels.

This sporty styling carries over to the cabin as the model comes nicely equipped with features that include leather seats, alloy pedals and aluminum sill plates. Other highlights of the cabin include a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a six-speaker audio system and a 4.3-inch touchscreen display.

Under the hood, power would be provided by a 2.0-liter GDI four-cylinder engine that would generate an output of 173 hp (129 kW) and 154 lb-ft (208 Nm) of torque. When the engine is connected to a six-speed automatic transmission gearbox, it would enable the model to return an EPA estimated 24 mpg city / 35 mpg highway.

Lastly, talking about the Elantra Sport, it now comes equipped with a revised steering system and a sport-tuned suspension that includes stiffer springs and dampers as well as a larger front stabilizer bar.
