2014 Mercedes E63 AMG heading for Detroit

by SpeedLux

Mercedes has already disclosed the 2014 E-Class sedan, coupe and convertible and now the company has released the first official picture of the updated E63 AMG.

With its debut at the North American International Auto Show imminent, the updated model has an aggressive front fascia with new headlights and a single bar grille. One can except some trivial interior changes including a revised instrument cluster, restyled air vents and updated trim.

There is no confirmation on Performance specifications yet, but the model is expected to feature a twin-turbo 5.5-liter V8 engine that develops 550 HP (405 kW) and 531 lb-ft (719 Nm) of torque. While Mercedes was modest on numbers, there is confirmation about the availability of an optional 4MATIC all-wheel system.

The 2014 E-Class will be unveiled on January 14th, 2013 where one can expect to receive the precise information about the car.

So stay tuned for full details and enjoy the pictures.
