2014 Nissan Qashqai spied for the last time

by SpeedLux

The second generation of the Nissan Qashqai has been spied probably last time ahead of full reveal to be held on November 7th.

The new Qashqai has been spied quite a number of times and in several teasers as well has been described as a car which Nissan has “reinvented from the ground up” and will “redefine the crossover sector and set new standards.” These latest spy images show the second-gen Qashqai’s proportions and it is quite visible that it will be considerably smaller than the recently unveiled X-Trail.

Looking more refined than the outgoing model, the 2014 Qashqai will be offered with just five seats since the role of a seven-seater will be attributed to the recently unveiled X-Trail.

Engine lineup will include but will not be limited to a newly developed 1.2-liter DiG-T four-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine with output of 113 hp (84 kW) and two diesel options – a 1.5-liter dCi mill rated at 108 hp (80 kW) and a 1.6-liter dCi engine with output of 128 hp (95 kW).

Well since the model is being unveiled soon, more details about the same is expected to be unveiled officially by the company.
