Volkswagen has for the first time introduced the R-Line package for the Beetle Convertible in Chicago.
First it was the R-Line versions of the Tiguan and Touareg at the Detroit Auto Show, Now Volkswagen has come up with the Beetle Cabriolet R-Line which will be available later this year. The car is fitted with 19-inch alloy wheels with lower side all-season tires and a sport-tuned suspension. Other features include bi-xenon headlights with LED DRLs and an “R-Line” badge on the front grille.
The inside part of the car has a metallic finish for the dashboard and door trim, with a flat-bottomed multiple-function R-Line steering wheel wrapped in leather and aluminum sport pedals. Beetle Convertible R-Line comes with leather seating surfaces, keyless entry with push-button start, Fender Premium Audio System, steel scuff plates and a navigation system.
The Beetle convertible is a superb concept and it has the wherewithal and the courage to give a touch fight to its rivals belonging to this segment.
We do not have the pricing details and other specifications right now but since the concept has been introduced at Chicago there will be barrage of information waiting to be grabbed at once.
