Some new renders of the 2015 Ford Mustang have been released which are based on the most recent spy images with the sixth generation pony car.
With Ford Mustang being spied earlier this month, the prototype was wearing slightly less camouflage at the front which revealed quite a bit portion of the design. Now based on those images, the two renders have been made and it indicates that Ford has taken cues from the Evos concept as a foundation for the new Mustang’s styling.
As per reports, the new generation model will be lighter by around 400 lbs (181 kg) than the outgoing model which means it will come with a total weight of approx 3,100 lbs (1,406 kg). If we talk about the power, the motivation would be provided by a 2.3-liter 4-cylinder EcoBoost engine (already confirmed for Europe), along with a rumored 5.0-liter V8 engine.
That’s not all, there are even reports that are indicating a V6 mill and a range-topping Shelby GT350 which will have an output of more than 450 hp (335 kW).
The all-new 2015 Ford Mustang is expected to be introduced at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) that will be held in January next year in Detroit.
