2015 Kia GT4 Stinger concept rendered sans roof

by SpeedLux

Well known car designer X-Tomi Design from Hungary has come up with a latest rendering of the Kia GT4 Stinger concept but without the roof for the model.

Kia had recently shown the GT4 Stinger concept at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit and now this concept has served as inspiration for X-Tomi Design’s latest work. The designer has managed to render the 2+2 coupe concept as a convertible sans roof and it looks as if Kia had planned the vehicle right from the beginning to suit a roofless version.

Kia GT4 Stinger concept designer Tom Kearns said that a potential production version of the concept wouldn’t much different from the concept shown as the only changes would be replacing the vertical LED headlights and the see-through A-pillars. Since Hyundai has the Genesis Coupe, maybe Kia could borrow the platform for its own version of the car which would draw its inspiration from the GT4 Stinger.

A convertible version if planned by the company would certainly improve Kia’s brand image and would also enlarge its customer base but also depending upon the pricing done by them.
