2015 Mercedes-AMG GT will also be available with 462 PS

Automobile Magazine has figured out how to figure out the Mercedes-AMG GT will be offered in a lesser 462 PS variant.

About two weeks back, Mercedes-Benz and AMG affirmed the approaching GT will be controlled by a recently created twin-turbo V8 4.0-liter motor conveying 510 PS (375 kw) and 650 Nm (479 lb-ft). It appears this variant will be offered in the more sizzling GT-S variant while the base model set to turn out later throughout the auto’s lifespan will have the same motor yet detuned to deliver 462 PS (340 kw).

The AMG GT will be furnished with 19-inch combination wheels wrapped around in 255/35 front and 295/30 back tires and will have a constrained slip differential. The S variant will get 19-inch front wheels with more extensive 265/35 tires and bigger 20-inch back wheels shod in 295/30 rubbers and also an E-diff. Both of them will be offered as standard with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires or optional milder mug tires.

The Mercedes-AMG GT-S will have a top velocity of 194 mph (312 km/h) and will have the capacity to give back 25 mpg US (30.3 mpg UK or 9.3 liters/ 100 km). The extent that the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) is concerned, AMG manager Tobias Moers indicated it would take short of what 3.9 seconds however didn’t release approximate figure.
