2015 Subaru WRX & WRX STi specs leak out early, reveal turbocharged 2.0- and 2.5-liter engines

by SpeedLux

The leaks of Subaru WRX continue as Jalopnik has managed to get details of a spec / order sheet for the upcoming model.

Set to debut at the upcoming Los Angeles Auto Show to be held in November, the 2015 WRX will come equipped with a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine while the WRX STi will have a slightly larger 2.5-liter mill. The WRX will be offered with a six-speed manual gearbox and a continuously variable transmission, while the WRX STi will be available exclusively with the DIY gearbox.

There would be three different trim levels and higher end variants can be equipped with features such as GPS navigation, keyless entry and a Harman Kardon audio system. There will also be a WRX STi launch edition that will have a WR Blue Pearl exterior and black Alcantara seats with blue leather bolsters. The cars can be further equipped with an All-Weather package that includes heated exterior mirrors, heated front seats and a windshield wiper de-icer.

The details are limited but we can expect more details to be out as the launch date nears for the model.
