2016 Nissan Titan XD having gas-fueled V8 starts at $36,485

by SpeedLux

The 2016 Nissan Titan XD having the 5.7-liter gasoline-fueled V8 will begin at $36,485 when it goes on sale this spring. The Titan half-ton truck will show up in the summertime as a Crew Cab model. Nissan introduced the 2016 Titan XD with a significant focus on its diesel-fueled Cummins 5.0-liter V8, however this spring clients can also get the truck’s 5.6-liter Endurance V8 for a beginning rate of $36,485 (consisting of $1,195 location), which is a $5,000 cost savings over the existing powertrain. The gasoline-consuming engine makes 390 horsepower and 401 pound-feet of torque, versus 310 hp and 555 lb-ft of torque for the Cummins. We get to see how it searches in the truck at the New York Car Show.

The 5.6-liter V8 is specifically available with a seven-speed automatic transmission. The gearbox is capable of downshift rev-matching, which seems more appropriate for a sports car instead of pick-up.

Like the diesel-fueled Titan XD, designs with the Stamina V8 are available in 5 trim levels and two- or 4×4. All costs are listed below.

S Crew Cab 4×2– $36,485.

S Crew Cab 4×4– $39,485.

SV Crew Cab 4×2– $40,255.

SV Team Taxi 4×4– $43,205.

Pro-4X Team Cab 4×4– $47,165.

SL Crew Taxi 4×2– $48,225.

SL Team Cab 4×4– $51,225.

Platinum Reserve Crew Cab 4×2– $53,665.

Platinum Reserve Crew Cab 4×4– $56,715.

Those costs are in line with the competitors. A Ford F-250 SuperCrew would cost in between $37,175 for the XL and 58,235 for the Platinum. In similar specification, the Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD costs between $37,935 for the WT and $57,935 for the High Country. Lastly, the Ram 2500 Crew Cab is priced at $36,745 for the Tradesman to an estimated of $58,775 for the Laramie Power Wagon.
