2017 Audi Q5 to be launched in mid-2017 in India

Audi is planning to release the reconditioned version of the next-gen Q5 in India by mid of 2017.

From the front, the brand-new Audi Q5 shares the appearances of the Q7, the rest of it basically like the current generation. What’s new in this car is the modular foundations– the Volkswagen‘s MLB Evo platform– likewise seen on brand-new A4 and Q7. It’s likewise 90kg lighter than the previous one.

Taking a look at inside, the automobile is quite like the Q7, and is loaded with a number of tech gadgets as well. It will come geared up with Audi’s 12.3-inch Virtual Cockpit instrument cluster, LED headlamps, multi-zone auto climate control and Audi’s newest MMI infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility to name a few.

The new Q5 will feature a line-up of 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol and diesel engines, which will create 252hp and 190hp respectively. It will be four-wheel drive and will have an eight-speed automatic gearbox as basic.

The brand-new Audi Q5 is anticipated to be locally assembled at Audi’s Aurangabad plant to help keep rates competitive.
