A learner motorist was on course to pass her test – till the instructor’s uninsured automobile was stopped by police.
The learner and examiner were pulled over during a driving test in Tile Cross, east Birmingham, last week.
West Midlands Police inspected the automobile and discovered it likewise had no MoT. They, later on, took the automobile.
The force’s road policing unit stated the student would have passed the test had it not been interrupted, as no faults had been recorded.
The driving inspector and student were taken back to the test center, where the driving trainer was questioned by cops.
The 46-year-old confessed knowing the car was not guaranteed however rejected knowing the vehicle had no MoT, cops stated.
Police seized the cars and truck and took the driving trainer’s badge.
She was reported to the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency and will need to offer legitimate insurance and MoT documents to police at a later date.
