General Motor’s Hydrogen Fuel Cell-powered Colorado was recently tested by the United States Army at Fort Carson, and the feedback was obviously rather favorable. As we can observe in the video below, the Army TARDEC men actually took a liking to the advanced powertrain. As per Colonel Kevin Vanyo, his soldiers have taken a liking to the Multimatic DSSV suspension moved over from the Chevy Colorado ZR2 along with the hydrogen fuel cell power.

According to the automaker’s engineers, the ZH2 can power 5 to 10 single-family homes, due to the mind-blowing 25,000-watt output connection in the rear of the car. Unlike lots of other alternatively-powered automobiles, the Colorado ZH2 is a little sluggish off the line, with a 0-60 miles per hour time of around 16 seconds and a top speed of 62 miles per hour.
