General Motors’s 755-horsepower Corvette ZR1 super car is going to have a starting rate of $119,995, with a convertible version from $123,995, its worldwide product development chief, Mark Reuss, stated on Tuesday.
The Corvette takes on Italian luxury sportscar Ferrari SpA in the elite, high-performance sports car sector, and is the opposite end of the vehicle spectrum from the electric and self-driving vehicles GM is anticipated to highlight at an investor conference on Thursday.
Reuss revealed the cost at an event prior to the Los Angeles Auto Show. General Motors had unveiled the $123,995 Corvette ZR1 convertible ahead of the show.
